What to Expect

As an artist, I understand your flowers hold sentimental value, which is why I can only accept so many bouquets at one time. Please know and understand that your bouquets are handled with the upmost care throughout the entire preservation process! All bouquets vary in regards to preserving and setting in resin-- this included turnaround times. Trust me when I say that I do my very best to complete pieces as quickly as possible but you need to know and understand that commissioned artwork takes time. Please do not book with me if you know you are an impatient person. We will not be a good fit.

There is a $50 nonrefundable deposit/fee required to book during the 2024 Wedding Season for any last minute orders, same day drop-offs, or to hold a future date without immediately making a purchase. This can be sent via Venmo or can also be invoiced to you via email after your purchase. This deposit is applied towards the cost of materials needed to complete your design as well as preserving your bouquet. Due to the shortage in supply of resin and materials, this fee is non-negotiable and nonrefundable. Should you have a wedding cancellation or need to reschedule, please email us at beautifulbloomsaz@gmail.com. Your deposit can be sent to your artist directly, @sarasikra or @beautifulbloomsaz via Venmo.

You can expect color changes on all of your flowers. Some flowers dry with a darker hue. (For example red flowers get darker and white roses turn ivory, pink flowers turn purple, hydrangeas and lilies normally don't retain their shape and shrivel up like raisins, and some flowers show translucent spots on the petals due to bruising and exposure. Please be realistic with color expectations as you are dropping off previously used bouquets. I cannot control the color that a dead flower will preserve to.

Due to the nature of resin, some flowers produce more bubbles than others, and small pockets of air may be formed. We use state-of-the-art casting resins that have UV inhibitors in them that will delay the change in color, however, all epoxy will eventually yellow to some degree. A yellow amber-look can be expected. We do not recommend that you leave your item in direct sunlight as this will cause discoloration. Please only use a microfiber cloth when cleaning your pieces and do not soak in water.

Arizona weather can and will affect the working times throughout the year. Weather delays can and will exist when working with resin, this is especially so during our hot summer months, during rainy days, and cold winters. Please understand that I am working with materials that are extremely sensitive to temperature and humidity. I will not start a new project during the months of June, July, and August outside of preservation--meaning no new resin orders will be made during this time due to the temperatures and you should expect a wait as bouquets will take longer to preserve during this time. June, July and August are my scheduled down time yearly due to the extreme temperatures we reach. Arizona wedding season can be around 10 months long whereas most states last between 4-6. Simply put, I need a break or else I will get burnt out. I am the only person that owns and operates my business who services the Tempe area. Please understand that this is for the benefit of your bouquets and that I am human whose safety must be a priority when working. If you do not like waiting or you know that you are impatient, please do not book with me; We most likely will not be a good fit for each other and as an artist I have to be selective with who I choose to work with. I am not Amazon. Nothing you see here can be mass produced. Please do not pressure me with "checking in" emails as every response takes away the time I had set aside that day/week to work on your order. I have over 50+ clients every month who are all waiting just as long as the next person. With commissioned artwork, I cannot, will not, and do not provide any clients with expected turnaround times. This is not possible with resin, there are too many uncontrollable factors, and I cannot control the weather.

All bouquets dropped off during/around/after any Holidays can and should expect a longer turn around time. Why? This is because I need time off for myself as well as my family! I typically work 7 days a week as a small business owner. Everything you see has been made be me, including this website. As an Artist I need time off so that I do not get burnt out! I do not allow pickups during or around any holidays. Please do not ask me to make arrangements for this. As of March 2024 I will no longer allow for pickups of orders as my time as been taken advantage of too many times. Everything about this process takes time and there is only so much that I can do each day. I can only pour 1/4" of product every 48-72 hours. Hours of physical labor goes into the finishing of each product, and you are one of many clients that I have. Please be respectful of me and my process as an artist. If you have issues with waiting, I am more than happy to provide suggestions for other out of state artists who might consider taking you on as a client last minute.

Please understand that large orders can take around a year for turnaround depending on the size of the order and if you've dropped off last minute. I will only accept 15 orders monthly. The majority of my clients book a year in advance. If you are accepted as a last minute client please understand that you are being squeezed into a schedule that has been booked a year in advance and to be realistic with turn around time. I cannot stress this enough as space is extremely limited while working. I am more than happy to help preserve your bouquet, but understand that this is commissioned artwork and the wait for my services can be around a year or so depending on your order size and time of year you've dropped off.

If you are dropping off without giving me more than 30 days notice of your order or arrival, you need to be realistic and understand that the turnaround times can and will vary for each client.

If I find that we are not a good fit for each other, we can discuss the cancellation and partial refund of your order as you would be responsible for the cost of labor and materials.

All sales are final. There are no refunds issued for commissioned artwork as resin is non-refundable. All items are made to order and are completely customized. You are booking with the understanding that you are signing over your used bouquet to me for the repurpose of a new product. You cannot ask for a refund or expect the return of your bouquet after the process has been started. If a chargeback is issued, I will pursue all legal matters available to protect myself against theft of services and will refer you to my attorney.

Booking with Beautiful Blooms Arizona

Book with us as soon as you know the date of your event or service! The non-refundable deposit must be paid to reserve your date. A $50 Deposit is required for any last minute orders/drop-offs or to hold your date in advance so that you may pay for your order no later than the day you drop off. Please e-mail us for your options: beautifulbloomsaz@gmail.com.

*I currently have my calendar closed due to complaints on wait times even though I've taken the time so far to try and verbalize that everyone will experience delays throughout our time together. If there is a date you are interested in but it is closed, you can email me to inquire; the same information above applies to the timeline and expectations of turnaround. I cannot control the weather and everyone has access to a weather app.

All orders must be made through our website prior to your desired arrival. I will not and cannot provide any clients with an expected finish date for any orders. This is not possible with commissioned artwork. There are too many uncontrollable factors at play. I cannot control the weather. As an artist you need to allow me the creative space to work without constantly "checking in." I say this with kindness and complete transparency so that we are not all stressing me out every week or every month. Every 1/4" pour in any given week will look the same to you until I am done.

You will receive a confirmation email along with packaging/postage instructions (if needed) via e-mail after you have booked your wedding date. A video link can be provided for those who wish to discuss their design in detail upon request. An email will be sent confirming your drop-off time via Google Calendar. Please remember to drop-off within 15 minutes of your scheduled time frame so that you are not running into another brides appointment.

Beautiful Blooms Arizona is currently operated from my home in Tempe, Arizona; this is so that I can keep costs down to my clients and rent prices are out of control. Therefore, appointments are required for drop-off and pick-up of orders that previously booked for pickup as I will no longer allow for the pickup of orders with the exception of Pressed Frames.  If you are late, or are a no show, you will be expected to pay a $10 late fee for pickup/drop-off of orders as my time is valuable.

Shipping Box Shipping to or Dropping Off at Beautiful Blooms Arizona

I like to receive your bouquet between 1 and 3 days after your wedding but not necessary! If local to Arizona, next day is always preferred! If this does not work, please email us at beautifulbloomsaz@gmail.com to help us find you a solution at an affordable cost! Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping bouquet to and from Beautiful Blooms Arizona.

When we receive the flowers, we will document the condition and preserve all flowers either pressed, hung, or buried in silica gel based on flower type & artwork you are purchasing. Drying time varies and can take between 2-3 months before being able to start the design process. Please understand that orders can be started as soon as space becomes available. This is especially so for any late or last minute bookings. Just because I can start one item of an order, does not mean I can start everything. Everything takes time and I only have so much space for each order at a time.

We can meet virtually to discuss specific designs for an additional fee.  A video link will be emailed to you for the date and time that works best for you.

I will contact you the week of the wedding or other event to coordinate drop-off and will contact you once your order is ready for pickup or when it is ready to be shipped out to you.

Please understand that I can only pour 1/4" of product every 48-72 hours and that my time is shared with over 50 clients a month. I honestly do not have time to provide monthly updates via email after I have started. Emails take away time spent working on your orders and everything looks the same for every 1/4" pour that I do. I can really only reach out when I am close to being finished with an order or if I have questions on design. It is extremely difficult keeping up with emails as I am the sole proprietor of my business. I can either work on an order or send an email, but I cannot do both in a day/week.

And a friendly reminder, just so that everyone is on the same page:

If I find that we are not a good fit for each other, we can discuss the cancellation and partial refund of your order as you would be responsible for the cost of labor and materials.
